I sell my eggs to a friend of mine. The other day she told me that one of the eggs had a developing fetus in it when she cracked it open. How is that possible. I do keep them out of the fridge, but it hasn't been all that hot here.. How can that be?

Sometimes the hen lays and little blood spots can appear. This might be what she thought was a fetus. A real fetus will have veins growing from the disk that is attached to the yolk. The blood of a live fetus in early stages is also pink where the blood spots caused from a laying hen are usually dark red to brown. Chances are it was just an "error" in laying and nothing more.

Also, "Pictures or it didnt happen."

It's possible that your friend mistook a blood spot for an embryo? Eggs need to be kept at 90*F + for more than 24 hours before they will show any visible signs of development.
