Hello everyone,

I am in the middle of a coop build and I have some questions in regards to interior design. I didn't have much room and I based my dimensions from plans that I purchased. The overall dimensions of the enclosed area is about 1'10 x 2"6. I have a nest box that will be coming off from the side 12 inches. The back wall is a solid piece of plywood that I am making swing out for easy cleaning. I can attach something to it if needed. It has a small window in front. I have included pictures of a quick floor plan and the current progress.

If anyone can give me some advice on where to put roosts (and how many) and items like if I need food or water in there where to put that would be greatly appreciated

They will also have the run area which will be closed and secured. Thanks in advance for all help.

A single roost that spans the entire width will be plenty adequate for the 2 bantam or 1 standard size hen that your coop can accommodate.
