internal pip question

i know that it is when the chick pips into the air sack. my question is.. how do people know when it happens if we aren't supposed to open the incubator after day 18? are they seeing it early? not sure what to look for. thanks

They ignore the rule of not opening the incubator after lockdown and do candle again. Looking down from the top. (I am not saying if it is right or wrong...just what they do and I haven't tried it yet...I'm always afraid to break rules!

I've candled many times after lockdown just so long as no one is pipping. Also if you hear them peeping they have pip internally.
