Would I be right to intervene at this point tonight?
I posted in a thread earlier about a couple chukar chicks that pipped about 50 plus hours ago. One finally made its way out of the egg but the other one has not cracked the shell since day 1. both were pipped at the bottom and not in the air cell. I know its still alive because its beak pokes through once in a while but no kind of progress.
I am thinking before bed tonight if it hasn't cracked the shell any more than I will open it.
