intestinal obstruction or congenital abnormality?

Does anyone out there have experience with chicks born with congenital abnormalities of the digestive tract? This is a 2 week-old Araucana chick that first seemed to be pasted up, but has continued to have some kind of problem passing waste. I don't know what is going on and don't want to overtreat the poor thing, if there is no hope of recovery.
