1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I’ve had chickens before along time ago. I got these last June.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 2. I bought 3 . Something got in pen and killed one.😭

(3) What breeds do you have? Ameraucana
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I really love chickens! I enjoy watching them. Talking to them. Eggs are a main reason.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, knitting, cooking, reading and bird watching. I also live near the lake so love going out on boat. I like to fish too.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I’m married to a wonderful man. We have 2 cats, Springsteen and Belle Star. My husband is retired. I was too. I decided to take a part time job at our local tobacco store.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
i was looking online to Find out if milo harms chickens. BYC was one of the link. So I joined knowing there would be experts here to help.
