I’ve had chickens for a couple years now and have moved into ducks, quail and chukars! I love my feathery friends!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
15 chickens.
3 ducks.
4 quail.
20 chukkars.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Chickens:
Americauna, Light Brahma, Speckled Sussex, Barnevelder, Black Sex Link, Buff Orphington, Salmon Faverroles.
Ducks: Blue Swedish
Quail: Button
Chukar: Chikar Partridge
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Entertaining. Lovable. Eggs. Beautiful!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Cattle. Horses. Goats. Rodeo. Sewing. Farming.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Family of five. 2 boys. 1 girl. Love our pets and other animals. I work for an ag lending institution. My husband farms and cowboys. My kids do alot of sports, rodeo and 4H/FFA.
