Hello everyone my name is Stephanie, I wanted to introduce myself and my flock
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens, and got my first 3 last month. They are Pavloskaya chickens (2hens, 1 roo)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently 3 with a surprise set of 15+ female chicks this Tuesday
(3) What breeds do you have?
Pavloskaya, the other set will be a colored egg assortment from cackle hatchery
(I would love to hear what people got from this hatchery if they purchased the surprise color assortment)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They are very affectionate and funny to watch when they play
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love gardening, and hiking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a cat and dog. I work from home and am currently building a permaculture sustainable garden as we speak. I went through a seed phase not too long ago so built up a heirloom seed library I want to put into action
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found out about this website this year when my interest for chickens sparked it so interesting and helpful
