[Quack Quack Cluck!]

I just purchased 6 chicks from my local tractor supply, I got 3 leghorns and 2 silver laced wynadottes and 1 golden laced wynadotte. I got them back in march and now they're happily outside in their coop and just started laying eggs last week!

I was told that tractor supply only sold hens, little did I know that you can't tell the sex of the chicks until 5months old...sooo end result we have 2 roosters which are my silver laced wynadottes. So far they've been getting along with no issues

I am definitely chicken lady crazy, and just enjoy learning new facts about chickens and love watching my chickens and how they act throughout the day with each other.

Too bad chicks aren't like puppies - you just flip them over and can tell at birth what gender they are.
