(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Hi I’ve got chickens for Just over a year
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 5
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have 2 Isa browns
1 faverolle
1 frizele
1 golden laced wyandotte chick
They all free range during the day and I loosely lock them up at night cause my young feisty doggy certainly lets me know if there is a predator luring around
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The calming aspect of them, love sitting around and watching them
They all have different characters and of course the wonderful tasting
eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Practice yoga, coffee with friends and walks with my dogs
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a wonderful husband adult children that who live at home, 3 dogs 2 cats and lots of fish So a pretty hectic home life that I love
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community
Have known about BYC since I’ve had my chickens I like to research about how to keep my hens happy
