Intro

Hey everyone, I’m new here but have been following BYC for about 2 months now. We started our little flock by incubating a dozen eggs in a diy incubator made from styrofoam insulation sheets, out of the 12 eggs we had 5 hatch. We ultimately want between 6-8 hens so we ended up buying 6 more chicks from CAL Ranch. We know for sure that we have two White Leghorns and two Gold Sexlink. The others we are unsure of and I think I will create a separate post on here to see if anyone can identify the breed and sex of these others.

I’m excited to be on here and learn from all you and share in this experience.
