Introducing a silkie

I have the opportunity to get a silkie,however, it would be just one. I have 3 chicks that are about 23- months old and was wondering if I would need to quarantine the silike or if I could introduce at once. I know they say to quarantine and introduce slowly but not sure to do that as she will be by herself and I don't want her to get stressed by being alone. Suggestions?

I was told when I bought mine that a single silkie is a bad idea. 3 at least in case 1 dies otherwise they would die of loneliness. Also to keep them separate from "regular" chickens as they would pick on them for their different feathers. Curios to know if she was just trying to sell me more?
