Introducing bought-in stock to existing ducks

Hi,

I have recently purchased 3 khaki campbells around 2months old. Unless supervised, my drake will mate with them. Is there any way I can deter him? I am afraid to let them run together incase they get hurt.

I have recently purchased 3 khaki campbells around 2months old. Unless supervised, my drake will mate with them. Is there any way I can deter him? I am afraid to let them run together incase they get hurt.

Best to keep them separated with temp fencing till young ones are of breeding age. Some drakes won't mess with young females but others could care less the age their hormones just get the best of them.
