introducing chicks

I'm new on this site, haven't seen an answer to this particular question. We have 4 chickens (no roosters), one of which is a broody hen. Can we sneak some baby chicks from Tractor Supply into her favorite nesting box for her to raise? Will she accept them? Will the other chickens accept them? Would she and the chicks have to be separated from the others? It is getting warm here (60's), but we have a light bulb in the coop for warmth if necessary. Has anyone tried this successfully? Thank you...

usually what i have read in a chicken book that it is better to have them seperate they can pick feathers and even kill the baby chicks
