Introducing.....me!

Hello to everyone fron central Illinois! I've been checking out BYC since January of '09 when I decided after some serious consideration(and the fact that I'm an animal nut) that I was going to get chickens. I'm mom to 3 boys - 30, 29, 19, grandma to 6, wife to a very understanding man. We have 6 horses, 3 dogs, 19 cats, and one fish as well as 28 chickens after starting in March with a pair of silkies. (I can never have just a couple of anything! The fish is just a fluke.) I manage an aquaponics business when I'm not spending time being entertained by the chickens.This site has been a wealth of information so far, and now I feel like I'm ready to dive in and enjoy the insanity!

LOL....he's on top of the entertainment center and the 4 indoor cats are too lazy to care! Had him for 4 years now, which makes him pretty old for a betta.
