Introducing My New Rare and Beautiful Red Tiger Swallows Pics Included

Thank-You so much everyone! It truelly means a lot ! Mary of Exeter, thank you so much for the tip! I was told to cut the tips off as they grow in. Should I wait for them to grow in fully or do it as they grow in????

Hoss1975- They have a tiger grizzle gene so when it is plucked it grows back in the pure color after one or two times

I am definitely nervous! I was told back when they were creating them it hurt them when they were plucked, and they would also have to pull out the feathers 7 or 8 times to get a full white feather. (I believe they were created 300 years ago)But through selective breeding now they only need to be pulled twice and it doesnt hurt them (as much).

I don't know if you have to wait until they are fully grown or not. I just know that by cutting them you are making it painless for the bird at plucking time. I think the difference is that if you wait until it is fully grown, it'll just take longer
