Hello everyone!
My name is Angel
and I have 3 ducks and 4 chicks. I'm proud to say i have one mighty pekin male who protects the other 2 ducks but is too over protective he chases our dogs away lol. The dogs are fine tho they just look at him confused.
I been looking up recently when my one female rouen would start laying and I've been told it takes about 6 months but right now the duck are literally 4 months old we already found an greenish blue egg laying randomly on the grass yesterday but that's not all I've just found her nest today that had 4 eggs in it
I just wanted to say the good news and let everyone know.
My 4 chicks are 2 months old and are my favorite ones because everytime I come outside they run up to me an one of them gets on my shoulder like a parret
So thank you all for posting good info that helped me learn more about raising ducks an chicks

You'll be spending a lot of time of here... it gets addictive! That's so cute how your chicks run up to you! they must love you so much
