Introducing myself

Hello,
I've just joined here after spending lots of time since getting out new chickens getting advice from here. I thought I might as well join!

We have wanted chickens and ducks for years, but only got our 3 Silkie Bantams this Spring. They are well settled in now, and we love having them here. The eggs are a lovely bonus.

When I'm not with the chickens I'm gardening or running forest school or horticultural therapy sessions (my new job). I also blog about parenting our autistic son.

have fun with the feathery ladies, they will keep you and your son amused and entertained the moment my daughter started walking she decided it would be fun to pull feathers from the chickens, its been a battle of wits ever since! the hens seem to have the upper hand so far, but its a matter of time.
