(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
- I just got my first chicks yesterday cause my son talked me into them after years of asking. Crash course in learning but luckily a friend kept answering her phone to help me out.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
-6 about 1 week old

(3) What breeds do you have?
- Golden Comets

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
- My friend who raises chickens recommended it as her go to place for answers.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
- Equestrian, cooking, trying to garden, Boy Scouts (my son is a Cub Scout), and watching my son do gymnastics

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
- I have 1 son who is my pride and joy (he is 10), my husband is a former Marine (retired after 20 years), 3 dogs (just lost my oldest one ), 3 cats, 3 horses, and now 6 chickens so my farm is growing!
