Hi guys I've been enjoying this site since I inherited 4 geese 18 months ago but managed to self learn until now hence I've officially joined this welcoming and informative page. I hope to learn more and hopefully give advice on my limited knowledge .

Welcome! I like geese, what kind do you have?

Hi BuffOrps, I've 4 embden geese one gander and 3 hens. The gander had killed some chickens of a farmer who wanted rid of him and so I adopted them all. They managed to produce 60 eggs last year but no success with hatching them which is why I'm trying to artificially incubate some this year

Oh that's wonderful! (Not the chickens dying part) Good luck hatching! Don't forget to post pics of the floofballs when they hatch.
