Hello Good People.
I want to introduce myself and tell you a bit about my relationship with chickens. I grew up on my grandfather's 160 acre dairy farm in the Willamette Valley in Oregon where we had chickens, ducks, geese, cows, horses and a pair of mules that my grandpa plowed the fields with. I've kept chickens most of my life. My wife and I now have twenty-five chickens, two rabbits, two dogs and two cats. We live in unincorporated San Pablo in northern California. We have a large veggie garden and I raise red worms that I feed the chickens to help keep feed costs down.
