Hello everyone. I just found this forum today and it looks awesome! We are soon to move onto a two acre property and I am wanting to get chickens. Had a small flock many years ago but life went a different direction. I am thinking of buff orpingtons as they are listed as a big dual purpose bird and that sounds just about perfect for us. We live in Campbell River BC with more rain than snow in the winter and pretty long springs and falls.
