We have 4 Hens and a rooster who were born in March, and I have ordered 6 more chicks to arrive in October. Are there any tips as to how to introduce the new chickens to our existing flock and at what age should we add the babies? Thank you!

I just add them all at once, but many suggest creating a barrier where they can see, hear and (smell?) one another, but can't interact. Eventually they get bored and it is safe to integrate. I just throw them all together @ 8 weeks and create lots of places for them to roost at night, and hide during the day. Never had much of an issue.

Adding just 1 is not advisable. Since you are adding 6, it should be fine.

Try doing it at night if at all possible.
