Introducing new chickens to flock

I have 4 girls, and I want to get one more from another chicken crazy friend to keep with my girls. Is this ok? what Should i do?

The new one will probably be at the bottom of the pecking order. How serious the attacks on her will be varies. Some people would just add her and let them sort it out, and take a chance that she does not carry a disease, or get seriously injured.

yes, it isnt always a given that everything will work out......u might have to introduce the new one slowly.
