introducing yogurt

does anyone have a suggestion for what to put yogurt in for our chicks?

Scrambled eggs or chick starter.

I give it to them off my fingers. This teaches them that the hand reaching into the box is not something to fear but a source of goodies! I then put it in a small container for them to eat out of. I make sure to take it away as soon as they are done or they make a mess. I also mix it with scrambled eggs and they love that!

I use a tupperware lid an remove it as soon as they are finished (which is really quickly).

I've been using a very small bowl. I guess it is a salad or finger bowl. I have fiestaware so it is the smallest bowl they have. I also take it out as soon as they are done, otherwise, they start walking and pooping in it and filling it with shavings.

I put blueberries in my yogurt and they love it.

I just use a saucer from our cabinet, lol. I sprinkle a bit of grated cheese on top so that they have something to peck at to discover the yogurt (so the yogurt doesn't just blend in with the saucer).

We tried everything before finding out the spoon was the trick with a little crumble on top, lids, dishes, fingers nothing worked until we gave it to them by spoon, then all heck breaks loose trying to get their share.​
