Hi!

I’m Lisa my husband is Scott. We are new chicken parents. Our babies arrived on March 26 and we are newly addicted to the joy of raising chickens.

We’ve been blessed with ISA’s, Sapphire Gem’s, Salmon Favorelle and a couple of Barred Rocks and Smokey Pearl’s. They are all amazing in our opinion. They are growing well and so far healthy, happy and friendly.

While we grew up around livestock, myself rabbits and horses and Scott cattle, goats, sheep etc. neither of us has any experience with chickens. I’ve read everything I can get my hands on but once they arrived I found myself on the BYC site daily. It has been such an amazing resource, either clarifying answers or calming worries. I am so grateful to all of you who have helped us along this journey! Thank you!
