Hello to you all!

My wife and I a home on some Ag land in the central valley. We are both education professionals.

I've taken to raise some chickens as a hobby for now. I have about 30 in total. I'm here to learn and help others.

Welcome to BYC! What do you teach?

Yes. It is more than a hobby. I have so many eggs, I enjoy giving or selling them. They do de-stress me. I work with the adults in the room. Language development, Assessments and currently assisting with the main department of Curriculum and Instruction. My wife teaches fist grade.

I have different breeds and really can't remember them all (Rhode Reds, Marans); and I did so as a "hobby;" but my favorites are the Ameraucanas.
