Hello, I’m new to the group and would like to introduce myself. I’m Madison, I am 20 years old from sunny southern California. I have had chickens for my entire life and was raised on farm fresh eggs and meat. I currently have 23 chickens: 2 aged hens, 2 broodies, one with 8 chicks and the other with 3, and 8 teenagers. My two aged hens are Americanas and all the others are domestic mixes that were born in the wild, who I trapped and caught. I love the farm fresh eggs and fresh meat, and the broody hens with their clutches. It’s the cutest!
As for my hobbies, I’m an avid horseback rider and horse trainer. I gentle wild mustangs for public adoption. I garden a lot, I quilt, and some other oddball hobbies. I love with my parents and my horses, cows, dogs, cats, chickens, and a tortoise. I attend university full time and am currently working on getting my bachelor of science in chemistry, with a plan to graduate Spring 2022. I found out about this group from Facebook!
