(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I’ve grown up with chickens so been dealing with them ever since i was old enough to know how!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 58 altogether, mix between chickens, cockerels, ducks and 1 guinea fowl.
(3) What breeds do you have? most of them are cross breeds between Marsh Daisies and Legbars. We have a few standard brown battery hens. A few cream legbars, blue orpington’s, white sussex’s, exchequer leghorn etc
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I love how friendly they get, most of ours have names!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Horse riding, dog walking, snowboarding
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have 2 horses, 3 cats, 2 dogs, 3 guinea pigs, 2 rabbits and 3 african land snails.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I was googling a question about one of my chickens and decided it was time to join!
