(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I had chicken in the past when I was approx. 18yrs old. I have order day olds for meat birds as well as full grown layers. I receive the day old this week end the layers in approx a month
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? NO
(3) What breeds do you have? NONE

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The experience for both my children and I.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I love to garden and grown indoor plants.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are a family of 4, my children are 4 and 7. We are self employed and have a approx. 75 acres where we work. The chickens and the coop will be kept here. We have 2 cats and 3 guinea pigs that live at home with us and will be hopefully getting a puppy to live with us soon.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I am apart of a BYC on Fb not sure if there is a affiliation to this group. I googled a question regarding a used coop I purchased and found this page.
