(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am pretty new with chickens, I got mine in July last year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I had 9 chickens but sadly because our backyard didn't have enough space we had to give them away to another home where they have more space. But, I still visit them every week.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have Cinnamon Queens, which one hatchery defines as a cross between Rhode Island Red rooster and a Silver Laced Wyandotte hen.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
My favorite aspect of raising backyard chickens is watching them run to me whenever I visit them and watching them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I don't really have any other hobbies other than learning more about chickens and being with mine!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a kid and when I get settled I want to have another group of chickens that are staying permanently. And maybe a few dozen more pets
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found it while searching up information about chickens, I knew about it since I got interested in chickens, and I joined this community because it has a lot of information and people here seem to really love chickens and helping each other out.
Thank you for reading!!!
