Hello from North Carolina!
I am new to chickens, started this spring. The chickens range from 16-20 weeks old. I have 12 chickens: 5 are roosters, 7 are pullets. I have BCM, Buff Americauna, Appenzeller Spitz., Olive Egger, and Blue-Laced Red Wyandottes. I found BYC from a new friend who introduced me to this forum. Thank you for allowing me to join! I look forward to learning from everyone here!

What a striking-looking flock you must have!

I hope your roosters don't cause you grief. I accidentally got two rooster chicks this spring, and while they are co-existing okay with each other, the smaller one has a bigger attitude. Yesterday, he decided to attack the feed scoop; since my hand was still attached to it, I objected. I admire his spirit, but not his tactics .
