Hello from Southeast Tennessee! Congratulations on starting your flock. First eggs are the best, I'm sure yours will start laying soon. We started out with chickens to see how we managed it and over the years have slowly added a few feeder pigs, quail for a while (I ended up giving them to a friend), and this year we got goats--too young to be bred for dairy at this time, though we hope to eventually. I'll probably end up just focusing on just chickens and goats because they are what I enjoy the most. Lots of knowledgable folks here if you have questions. I am looking forward to hearing more about your flock!
