Aloha everyone!
We got 4 Easter Eggers April 2022 and they are so much fun. My 4 boys are really great with them and do a lot to help with their care. We all enjoy watching them and find them very entertaining, plus the beautiful blue eggs they give us are such a blessing.
We live in Hawaii and if you've ever been here you know that chickens run wild all over the place. We found an abandoned chick one night and brought it home, sadly it died the next day. Seeing how sad my boys were tugged at my heart and we decided we'd get chicks and raise them- they always ask for a pet and since we can't have a cat or dog, why not chickens!
I came across BYC while searching for answers for all the random things that occur, and finally decided to join the community to be able to post and get help with specific questions we have for our girls. And its nice to have a community to go to that adore their chickens
