Introduction

Oh yes I feel the same. First I didn't want anything special, just 6-7 normal laying hens for eggs. Then Chicken math happened, it became 11. Then an olive egger. Than their space was too small. Then they got a 2700 sqft run in February. Then this summer marans, araucana, leghorn, crested cream legbar... Though not all of them layed yet (first they were too young then cold hit then they're molting, hopefully they'll finish it soon). I'm soooo excited to see all those colours. And just now someone told me I should have silkies just for fun and I can't say I'm against it 😅
Ohhh yes chicken math.. I just love it! Some people don't but I am one of those people who is like "since I have enough space I MUST get more chickens ASAP".. I then go through the rabbit hole of researching about every single breed imaginable...Should we get a breed that lays colored eggs? A crested breed? Ooooo how bout a bantam? I swear, researching about chicken breeds and making tons of unnecessary google slides about breeds is a time warp for me lol😅🤣:lauWhen we got out youngest rooster, he was mean to our first roo so we built one entire coop dedicated to the rooster who was being bullied😶
