Introduction

Hello everyone

My family is new to BYC and to raising chickens. We recently acquired our first lovely little bunch of chicks. Early yes but the farm store had them and we just simply couldnt wait to get them home and happily set up. We now are the proud owners of 3 Barred Rocks, 3 Aurucana, and 4 Buff Orpingtons. Our intentions were for only 3-6 but well... they were so cute we decided to go for the max of 10. We have a small city yard but a chicken tractor will be made later for them to move around quite a bit. Our 2 dogs seem to have settled down regarding the chirping now and soon we will CAREFULLY introduce the all so we dont have issues when we move the chicks outside. Ya know for living in a city and just shy of down town we sure got a lot of country stuff going on

We will post pics soon of our little lovelies. Wish us luck and helpful constructive opinions are always welcome.

Yeah I've been checking them out. I have some base plans im working on by modifying others designs. Loving BYC, its saving me so much headache finding info
