Introduction

Hi, I'm new to this chicken world! We have 5 chicks: 2 Americanas, 2 leghorns, and1 that is called "red sex link"??? Got them at the local Tractor Supply when they were 1 day old. They are 4 weeks old now. For the last 3 days, I have brought them outside to their chicken yard and coop. They and we have thoroughly enjoyed it! several of them stay right with us eating out of our hand as long as we are in there. The others eat from our hands but are less trusting. They haven't slept out there yet, but was thinking about it tonight because they are getting so big and the brooder is too crowded.

My girls have been outside the last few days and they love it.
Hope the rain is over for tomorrow, but then again we need it for the crops!
