Hello everyone out there, I have been using this site for probably over a year now and am just now getting around to becoming a member. As a kid I always wanted to raise birds but just never had the space/time. Now that my oldest son is 3 and 1/2 I'm enjoying my second childhood, he and I recently built a chicken tractor and got some chicks, I'm already plotting on getting more birds, I figured I could probably find some enablers on this site :-)
 
if you have any questions feel free to ask away because I have had chickens for quite a long time now I could probably answer some

More birds the merrier! Build a coop and expand that flock! Oh and ducks are great too! A great excuse to play in kiddie pool... Not that your son isn't enough reason to slash around. My oldest is 2 1/2 and loves our birds, collects eggs and helps feed everyone.
