Hello!
We just started raising chicks this past May 2021. I am a veterinary technician (though currently not working) and it has been a long time wish of mine to raise chickens for eggs. This year we finally took the plunge and converted our garden shed into a coop. We have 4 14 week old americauna/aracauna Easter eggers. They are a delight to watch and my 6 and 10 year old kids are thrilled to be part of the process.
I have recently been researching the best grazing mix to use in a small patch of our garden by the run and came across this forum. So much great information!
We also have 5 cats, 2 rats, and a love bird who all share our home in Michigan. I enjoy sewing (quilting and clothing) in my non-existent spare time.
Thanks!
