Yes, this IS the place to be when you own poultry. We are just bursting at the seams with knowledge and compassion!

Make yourself at home and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Welcome to our flock!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. Just post any questions you may have on the forum & I'm sure you'll get lots of replies. We are here to help in any way we can. Do you have any poultry?

We currently have 6 Bpr, 6 Ee, 2 Oe, 2 silkie roos and a frizzled something. Our Oe and our frizzle hen both hatched some babies a couple weeks ago, 10 left, sold 2 lost 2.

We also have 19 muscovies, 4 cayuga babies and a embden goose. We just started our flock this year so the old english, silkies, and the frizzle are the only adult birds we have atm. 51 birds and not getting any eggs right now lol.

You have a nice mixed flock. Sorry about the loss of two of your chicks. I don't know much about geese or ducks (although I've had a few ducks), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. If you have any questions about ducks or geese, you can talk to the experts on our duck and geese sections at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks and https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/47/geese Good luck with your flock.
