Invasion of monster ducks

O.k, got my day old pekins (along with day old wyandottes) last Tuesday and you can practically watch them get bigger The chicks are using them as mommy surragates because of the size difference......

Ducklings seem to double in size over night. The chicks are just smart to use their big buddies as a cuddle toy

eta: pekins are just amazing! i love my four and i have 14 eggs from my girly in the bator!! you'll catch pekin duck and chicken fever soon enough

I'll put them up soon. Chickens are old hat for me but these are the first ducks I've had since I was a kid.

Just be careful as the ducks get bigger and bigger they well smash those chicks without knowing what they did wrong.
