Irresistable flowers

Jeesh...I need categories! lol I can't pick just one flower...here are my favorites.

Scent: Gardenia and Apple Blossum

Flowers that just make me warm and fuzzy: Daisy and Peony (my kids (when little) would pick me daisies...rootball and all. lol

Uniqueness: Bird of Paradise and Bleeding Heart

My Go-to-no-fail-garden-filler: Petunia

I JUST read in Erin Benzekein's book about her flower farm in Washington, that's she picks peonies before they open and when they feel like a marshmallow. She can even store them in a fridge for a while but they will open the next day after being pulled out again. Such classic beauty!

I used to sell peonies at market and boy they were popular. Asiatic, Asiflorum, and Oriental lilies too, some of my other favorite flowers. I just love flowers in general, to pick just one is impossible for me. I have sweet peas blooming in the garden now and I am in love with them too! So many!!
