Is all amprolium corid 9.6 Percent? Is it the best Cocci treatment?

I have heard (or read) other people say that it is sometimes sold in different concentrations. I have never seen it in any other concentration. I bought mine locally, so i don't know about the shipping question. Hopefully someone will know.

I used Corid for my chicks, and it worked right away, and they didn't seem to have suffered any ill effects. I have heard that Sulmet can cause more bleeding. I don't really know. Again, to the experts.

If i find someone who ships Corid overnight, i'll post it here.

this place offers next day delivery, but it looks like they only sell the gallon size instead of the pint. so it'll cost you about $100.

We only use Sulmet at a rate of 1 cap full per quart of water from day one until they are 3 weeks old and have never had a problem. We also run Sulmet through our older chickens water once a month at a rate of 2 cap fulls per 1 gallon of water.

Amprol is the best as far as I am concerned,always keep some on hand. 9.6 % is all I have ever used.

bayouchica..you read my mind..LOL

there use to be a powdered Corid 20% that worked very well..but it got almost impossible to find..
might be available now tho..livestock supply stores..

i did see some powdered stuff when i was searching just now. it was 2.5 % in a big plastic tub-like container. cheaper than the liquid.

Well I sent my mom on a search for it at TSC or Orschlyns after work, so all should be good.
Thanks though, and I think I saw some powdered corid well doing my searches, but just once.
