we had one chicken broody an hatch out few weeks ago an old english the only non orp chicken we have.then our buff went broody then our blue orp went broody then our white orp.well now we have so many broodys it is going to be a mess down there going to be an orpington supersale in a few weeks.lol

Yes and no. A broody hen can trigger the instinct in another hen and encourage layers to sit, but it's not neccesarilly contagious. Good luck with your hens!
