Is Daisy a Diesel?

Thanks everyone! I'm feeling better now! She is so sweet and always hopping up on my lap, I've gotten very attached.

he's too young to have pointy/sickle feathers yet, he's only 1.5 months old.. Pointy feathers come in at about 4-5 at the same time that the redness in the comb/wattles does.

Reason why i say he's a rooster is because i've been around australorps, Along with many other black breeds etc.. And he looks like 90% of the cockerels did at that age.. I can still be wrong though. So how about updating the pictures when he ages to about... 5 months?

I will definitely give an update once she/he is older. I have a question: When does the green sheen appear in Australorps? Is it supposed to appear sooner in cockerels? Daisy has that already, and my other chick(same age) does not. I also have a Partridge Rock cockerel that is the same age and he also has a green sheen to his feathers, but his comb MUCH bigger and redder than Daisy's. Another question, is that Daisy seems to be the top of the pecking order. Are roos always at the top of the pecking order?

im not sure on the green sheen.. I've noticed it to show up about the same time for both sexes, And roosters aren't always the top of the pecking order.. But i've always noticed cockerels to be the top about 60-70% of the time.. At least in all the flocks etc i've had.
