Is Day 3 too early to check for development?

I set a dozen eggs from my ladies on Monday and I am dying to find out if any are developed or not. Is day three too early to check for sure if they are growing or should I wait? The suspense is killing me. This is my first time hatching.

I cnadle mine within three days of placing my eggs. You should see veins, and a bobbing spot. If your not sure about fertility, then leave them in for about 10 more days. If you need anymore info just ask. Goodluck, -Jay

Great I will try and candle them tonite! I hope I get at least some fertile little buggers.

You might be able to see something if they are bantam eggs. But I would wait till day 5 for standard size eggs. Good Luck
