Well i went out to the ducks this morning like any other day, and there are 7 eggs there all neatly arranged in a kind of nest shape. 1 of my 2 ducks has not been laying for pass couple of days and has looked very full, now this she did not look full this morning but now she is again, she is not sitting on the eggs at the moment, i know khakis are not well known to brood is this what she is going to do? answer would be greatly apresiated.

Ps i only have 2 females and 1 male and the eggs definatly wernt their yesterday.

i dont think she would lay 7 eggs in a day, perhaps she buried them yesturday and u couldnt see them but today you caught her out!!! They can go broody as mine has gone broody twice in the past 2 years, so its not common but does happen..... watch her, maybe she will cover them again!!

yes this does sound like broody behaviour..... also a very easy to identify trait of a broody is the ruffled feathers and the nest should have feather linign in it although some ducks do it more than others
