Is he a good flock protector?

Hi there I have a puggle names Nibbles. He's a medium sized dog, and leaves the chickens alone. He was actually afraid of them as chicks. He also barks at other dogs and predators (until the animal gets too close to him. Then he runs.) he barks like a huge dog. Would he make a good flock guardian?
