Is he broken?

My 4 month old Chantie cockerel has been crowing for a while now, but his crow is not normal lol
Will he find his rhythm eventually, or is this just how his crow will be?

They usually get tuned up eventually on their crow. I have a rooster that makes almost the same crow, but he's been tuning himself up.

Give him time. Hopefully he finds his crow. I had a Polish Rooster that my Husband called the Crazy screaming Chicken. He never could crow properly..
My current Cockerel/Rooster has a fantastic crow. He is a Rosecomb Bantam..Keep waiting..

That's a very nice crow! Each individual has their unique signature sound. There was a thread last year, a crowing show, where people posted crowing videos. It was so fascinating to compare them all. I wish we could do it again!

Too adorable!!
As he gets bigger his crow will get stronger. The cadence might change, or that could stay his rhythm for life

I kinda like his different, messed up crow lol it's unique (I think!)

I have 3 silkie cockerels that I think sound different than a regular chicken. They all have their own little (getting louder) individual crows, that's what makes them special. I can literally tell who is crowing with out looking lol.
