Is He Hiding???? Pics****

This Buff Silkie has been peeking out like this since about 11am, anything to worry about?

I can see him moving, I think you can even see the beak in the photo

you say he is moving, and he can air if he wants it - I would think he's okay. Do you see any blood on him or on the inside of the shell? You could try chirping to him - other hatchees would have chirping and that encourages other to get out of their shell. Do you have any hatched to put with him so he'd hear that?

There are 40 eggs in there with him

He just seems to be the first to start. Two other eggs piped along with this one but nothing from them yet. They aren't supposed to hatch until Saturday

No... I see no blood, looks like everything is absorbed. I was really just worried about his membrane drying out. I have the humidity at 70% right now.

Ohhh.... Never mind, he decided it was time and he is zipping along

He's a fast little hatcher! Zipping along only 4 hours after the pip! No rushing the little guys 6-24 hours is perfectly normal from a pip to zip.
